X-Dream is our flagship screening material and can be installed both indoors and outdoors. Our clients have successfully installed Aaronia X-Dream® in homes, offices, retail outlets, laboratories and manufacturing premises.
X-Dream is also ideal for building bug-proof environments, precision EMC measurement chambers, or and a variety of applications in the aerospace industry. This product offers 10,000 times the screening performance of Aaronia-Shield® and when earthed has been measured to provide a level of 110dB signal attenuation.
Aaronia X-Dream® is available as both the standard X-Dream fleece material and the self-adhesive backed Aaronia X-Dream® PLUS for added convenience.
Aaronia X-Dream® screening fleece offers simultaneous protection against high-frequency (RF) AND low-frequency (LF) E-field radiation.
Aaronia X-Dream® can be used both for screening electric fields from local LF radiation sources like cables or distribution boxes, as well as for screening rooms or entire houses or other buildings against RF radiation. Installation is performed by laying the fleece in adjacent lanes which need to overlap approx. 15cm to guarantee a closed surface.
It is not necessary to ground Aaronia X-Dream® for RF screening however the level of performance will be improved and if you require to shield low-frequency electric fields from high-voltage lines, power cables etc. Then you will still need to ground using one of our grounding kits.
