The handheld EMC Sniffer is an essential tool for designers and manufacturers of any electronic equipment. The unit allows you to detect and identify the source of spurious signals and EMC and to resolve the issues before EMC approval testing is undertaken at great expense with the possibility of failure and further expense of retesting.
The Spectran unit with EMC probes will not only tell you whether you are compliant but will allow you to track down the source of any problems to the radiating track or component. This allows the user to resolve any problems before testing and to approach the testing with confidence at a fraction of the cost of the full test. The probe set includes 5 different probes for magnetic and electrical detection plus a pre amplifier to increase the sensitivity of the detection.
